About Myself

I have recently completed my Bachelor of Design Degree in Spatial Design at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), one of the top 1% of universities in the world. During my studies, I have learned to design for a variety of spaces, such as private, public, retail and hospitality. I have also gained valuable skills in using the latest technologies such as 3D Printing, Laser cutting and computer softwares involving digital modeling, rendering and photoshopping. 

Spatial design is a relatively new discipline that crosses the boundaries of traditional design specialisms, such as architecture, interior design, urban design, and service design. It focuses on the relationship between people and space, and how to enhance the quality of life and well-being of the users. I have always been passionate about creating things (one of them being design), and I have seen myself grow as a designer throughout my academic journey. I have developed a strong sense of spatial awareness, creativity, and critical thinking, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and independently on various projects.

I am proud of my achievements and the portfolio I have built during my studies at AUT. I have participated in my first public exhibition and participated in the RED awards where I have showcased my work and received positive feedback from peers, tutors, and industry professionals. 

I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in the real world and to pursue my career goals as a spatial designer and I am confident that I have the potential to contribute to the spatial design industry and to create innovative and meaningful spaces for people. I am also keen to continue learning and exploring new possibilities in the realm of design, and to reach even further heights in my professional development.

Not only do I partake in Design, but I also produce music thats available to stream on all music platforms @ 'ReubzK'.
